Tribute to my best pals!

One day, I realise Eunice and I have the most common thing. We have very few friends that we can open up to even though we mix well with people. I have bunch of guys and she have bunch of girls. Then, my butt got itchy and proposed to combine all of our friends into this one huge family. And we succeeded. Not really perfect as we have some arguments and conflict here and there but that is how we grow right? Now let me introduce one by one.

William Ong

I have known William since I was around 7. I know him because of my dad. My dad introduced me to him because William is my dad's colleague's son. First thing I know about him is "He is a very good boy." For a son to hear that from his dad, urggghhhh means I am very naughty is it. He has been a very good friend, my best friend of course. You can talk to him about serious stuffs as well as stupid things. He has a very funny side which sometimes makes you wanna slap him hard. But oh well he face has so much meat your hand might ricochet off his face. Right, william?

Chung Han

I have also known this fella for a very long time. Since 4 i think. It has been almost 20 years my friend. I have seen every stage of his life. From skinny till having a nice body. From being bullied to .........oh wait he is still being bullied. My bad :P HAHAHA it is never physical bullying but he always says he dont have a choice while deciding whether to go out with us or not. I like calling him "bong bong" as that was his nickname from high school. Currently he has a very nice lady in his life, I would be very happy to see them both together. They are too cute! We went on a double date once, and regretted as we step on the pirate ship ride.

Johan

I would start off apologising to you. I am sorry I couldnt find a better picture of you :P He is my friend since 16. Got close to him once we hit form 4 and we were both tallest in class. Just like KLCC. I have once expected to much from him as a friend and it turned out sour. And it was just beginning of this year. It wasnt a good memory but it definitely made me understand him more. I also seen all stages of him from being a quiet one to the leader of the group. Sometimes I just wish ladies will see the good side of him, instead of this HAM SAP LOU side of him because he did not shave for that day XD

Daryl Chow (Darly)

HAHAHA this guy. I dont even know when i got so close to him. I know him because of Johan. And I once hated this guy because he was such a tryhard and noob in DOTA :P OMG I really couldnt stand him back then. As time passes, I guess when we are growing old, games are just for fun. And we got close because he changed. FYI he is also as tall as me and Johan. I like his laughter, one of a kind laugh which makes him charming and stupid at the same time. Ladies you will not understand because he will fake it in front of you! :P

Lynn

Eunice's friend. She was once my "sister" because we tricked Eve(eunice sis) just because we are both LIMs. Hahaha she is short and adorable. Not really short because from my height everyone is short :P and of course not really adorable because she will be confused of your every statement and ask you ZOMOK!!! In english, it means why! She likes going to cafes. And have problems with directions. Luckily everyone have WAZE now.

Teng

She is a very typical chinese. Why? In facebook, her name is Ah Teng. Lol might as well be Xiao Teng or Xiao Bitch right :P Jkjk. She loves watching Taiwanese drama. The only one that caught my attention was when the 2 main actors were on different roof. Adjacent roof to be precise. One was poured with rain the other dry! hahaha. Well this girl is short. Well not from my height, but SHORT! Every shoes of hers has height just to boosts hers. You will understand alot more later.

As stated in her face in the picture above, she also super blur one. I once made her mad by saying hurtful stuff. I have learned my lesson and Im sorry. She dances. Very well in fact. I once attended her performance. Everyone cheered and clapped! Thats how i realised it was good. HAHAHA im sorry im no dancer i wouldnt know how to judge.

Barrie

I knew him since I was 7. Same class. Now he is in the States studying for his degree. We use to have great memories in high school. William will always make fun of him calling him Horse. Fuuny fact : halo= HAHLOW ; Akon = AHCOND ; Bounty Hounter= Bouncy Hunter. HAHAHA he also changed alot. He was a very skinny guy and then he got buff. Girls, he is still available. Oh yeah, consequences you will have to face yourself. I wont be there :P

Wen Yi

She is my bubu, my little sis. In the UK now, dont have much opportunity to see her and talk to her. But when she comes back definitely will go see her. An architect, havent seen her work but have faith in her. She used to send me and Eunice postcards from all over places when she travels. It seems like she is enjoying her life alot. But she gave me an opportunity to see the world through her.

I once hated this girl alot. Why? She always skips class, and dump all the assignment work to Eunice. Guess what? I have to hear all the rants about Jun. HAHAHA but it worked well. Eunice got used to Jun, and I got used to the rants. She never comes to a group outing but all of us knows she exists. This is because she is abit more "mature" than us due to the circle of friends she has. I can relate to her because she has the same pimple problem with me :P

Zi Xiang

We celebrated his birthday few days ago. I plays loads of online games with him. Mainly shooting games though. Known him since primary school. We even stayed at his hostel before just to participate in a school event. Very rich dude who is unemployed now. I guess it doesnt matter to him XD

We did a lot of crazy stuffs together. Some I have pictures some I dont. We even got a T shirt for all of us as a symbol to our friendship. The only one who has not get it is Barrie. Cause the horse is too far away. We have been to 2 trips together, with the majority of us. Of course some will be missing. It is hard to get as many as possible to go on the trip. But it ended up " Best trip ever" every time.

We did alot as a group of friends. As a squad we achieved a lot of goals together. We will strive further as we step into the real working life soon! I will meet up with you all and succeed in life together!!! For now,

Travelogue 2: Genting Highlands!

The famous pit stop for KL people!

Everyone will know this place in Malaysia. This is a hill top complex which is build from scratch by Uncle Lim himself. It is not far away from the city. A lot of the locals would go up and enjoy the breeze and have some coffee and chit chat with friends. And for tourists, please do come visit it is simply magnificent.

Here a picture of it. And I am not gonna do a standard travelogue because everyone has been here at least once in their lifetime. So I am gonna tell you something different, at least I think it is different :P

Tips about Genting Highlands:

If youre above 21, you dont have to waste money and buy water from all the outlets. They are priced ridiculously. Just have a walk into the casino and they will have vending machines with water for everyone. If youre lucky, sometimes you might get coffee and tea.
Get the Genting Rewards card, they have this system that randomly chooses people. And TADAAA you get a free room for one night.
There is a Nike Factory Outlet which rotates their shoe model once in a while. The merchandise there are all cheaper than usual as that is one of their factory outlet.
The Bakery is a shop right infront of the main building. Shown in picture above. It offers buy 1 free 1 when its late. Maybe after 12? Go have some salmon bagel or something like that its nice!
There are 2 starbucks there. If you want a greater view, go to the one near Maxim Hotel.
There is a place named Bubbles and Bites. Usual restaurant for me. It is super nice! The Carbonara Pizza and Carbonara Pasta is superb. And the Mac and Cheese. Their Pizza is like Naan. I always say that "These went abroad for some education huh?"
Platinum Card holder has free valet service too!!! Dont miss out and park the car yourself if you have it!
It has very very nice architecture design. Example: First World. It is designed to be like the US. If you get to go into the casino. Look at the design it is so nice! With all the details, I feel the efforts are all wasted as people never really looked at it and appreciate that work.
Buy all your snack from Gohtong Jaya which is half way up the hill!!! Obviously this happens if youre already on the way up. If not, buy from KL. Its pricey up there.
Try their herbal egg. Almost all the herbal eggs are nice. With the cold weather, hot eggs just-----ahhhhhhhhh!!!
If youre in Gohtong Jaya for a meal, try the eggplant fried with dried shrimp. My personal favourite! Taste like fries but smells alot better.

Funny things I heard about Genting:

Uncle Lim really hired professional Feng Shui Master to design the place. You see the roof up in the picture. Does it look like a eagles claw? It is said to claw on to the customer like a sign of "I got a hold of you" "You cant escape"
After you reach the lobby, you could see the walls are decorated with 2 sharp letter opener like shape. It is said to be shaped sharp so it would make people bleed! In this case, bleeding chips!
Then, it is the constant renovating that Genting have. Have you once been in Genting and not part of it is being renovated? Hahaha cause renovation in chinese is 装修 . In cantonese it sounds like 庄收. Which has the meaning of banker keep in direct translation. Which makes the Genting group "keep" more winnings.
Then, there is this floor that is "missing" from Genting. It was said to have paranormal activity in there. And it was for staff only. There was a documentary in chinese. A team went and look for it and found it through a tour guide. The tour guide gave them the key, 1 guy from the team spent a night there with cameras on in it. The rooms was weird to start with no windows just 4 walls. Then the guy who spent the night there got really uncomfortable as he felt something was there and left the room ASAP. He was ok but the camera caught the chair moving.

Genting is building a new outdoor theme park. Which I am expecting alot from it. It is based from the 21st Century Fox studio. And they have build a cable car which directly reach there. How cool is it?!

They say it can probably Universal Studios Singapore, I am holding back abit because higher expectation higher the fall right :P
