Volkswagen Polo P!!!

Days ago, when I was in a department in my school, I saw this event which is from Volkswagen. The event is said to be teaching us on road safety. So I thought to myself, why not try it out, since I dont know anywhere to learn advanced driving. HAHAHA and its FREE some more. HEHE So I registered with Johan.

So you see here is the poster thingy. Now if you read carefully, I actually thought they will teach us on skid recovery. Like in actually condition, no matter what car it is. So i was kinda disappointed but the event turned out ok. Here is how it went!!!

One fine SUNDAY...

it was sad, why cause I usually do not set alarms for a Sunday. HAHAHA today have to lohhh. Registered the event with Eunice but she could not make it due to FYP/ Thesis. So I went alone, then half way getting dressed, got a text from Johan jio me for lunch. So we met at Sg Long at 12. I was abit sad and weak have to drive alone to school cause I think I am going to fall sick soon.

So after that I reached school had Wontan Mee with Johan and Jeff. Then it was about time to attend the event. So we walk towards school and at the main entrance there was a Polo sitting there. I know its not a big deal but I was kinda excited about it.

HAHAHA then I walked into the school and there were signboards everywhere. Even though we knew where the class is, we still follow the signboards like dumb dumb only HAHAHA.

Obviously have to register first, this time have to see drivers license some more. HAHAHA cause we get to drive VW car. Then they gave us a free T shirt for the event itself. Not bad leh........

He purposely cover the P because he said he is not a P licensed driver anymore!!! HAHAHA so we attended the class for around like 30-40 mins. Bla Bla Bla, all basic things, except for the sitting position, it was abit more uncomfortable than I imagined. So the funny thing happens, the organiser asked us one tricky question, like What should we do when the car skid?. I mean there are other questions of course, but I am just gonna concentrate on this one. People said brake, counter spin (thats what I heard) and others. Then this girl said SCREAM. Everyone laughed!!! He said no, screaming wont help you. Then, its time to go practical!!!

They used the 1 dollar parking as a training ground!!!

This was how it looks like, there are 2 obstacles. One is for you to familiarise with the steering wheel. Its just turning left and right. Then on the right you see cones forming a snake like figure. Thats the part where they want us to JAM the DAMN brakes. And see how the car handle the skid. Oh yeah, they didnt teach us skills to handle skids. It is more of the car, what we need to do is brake and turn. Thats why I am disappointed, but I still had a great day. Lets continue.....

There were 3 cars and 3 instructors, this is like a backup I guess. While we were waiting , I snapped a photo of it. HEHE then it all started dry and hot. Suddenly after 2 batch of students driving it rained.... HAHAHA when I type this, suddenly remind me of my friend RAINE LEE. Sorry!!! XD

Then, the instructor was like better!!! You all can actually feel how it slide. I was like ok. There were a lot of people, so me and Johan just quickly squeeze into one car. Then there is this other dude who joined us. So 4 in a car, instructor, dude, Johan and me. He taught us like the basics bla bla bla. Then he took us for a spin on the course. Not bad, but was kind of terrifying at the JAM BRAKE part. So when the instructor say change you all try la. I was like nervous, and tried to push Johan to go first. But I was in the passenger seat. So no choice lo. Started to familiarize with the steering, it was nice then to the scary part. I calmed down and said I could do this. He said floor it, until he say brake only brake. And its damn near to the cone, IM NOT JOKING!!! HAHAHA after the first round, CHEH simple only la. Then, Johan, I recorded how he did and show you guys how it looks like..... Note, this is Johan!!!

HAHAHA the funny part comes when the dude tries. I guess its the age problem, not enough experience or what. But he practically slow down to take the corner. So that was not what we should do, remember? Jam Brake? Then he went for a second round, this time BETTER! He waited damn long to brake. Guess what?! It scared the instructor so bad, he SCREAMED!!! HAHAHA and he was the one telling us not to scream. HAHAHA I said, I saw the screaming part :P He laughed and we all had fun!!! We ended our session, and we stayed there la just to see whether we can go again for 1 more round. We met this guy named Jeffery from VW Malaysia. Talked a lot la. Then, we get to go for a more spin. Then the whole thing ended with a participation cert given out to all of us.

It was a very nice event that really taught me quite some tips in driving safely. I guess its good for me and Johan since......... We are the "best" drivers in the group. HAHAHA so till next time when I am free guys!!!

I have a really good PHOTOGRAPHER!

This blog is like half dead liao, HAIHHHH. It has been a year since I started blogging, and now I am no where near where I wanted myself to be. Not as a blogger but as a Human Being in this cruel and realistic world. A bit disappointed but nothing has changed. I am still gonna strive for what is important for me. And what is dear to me.

Short update on my life:

These few days have been really busy. Studies, assignments and stuffs. What is most exciting is my intern is coming up. Coming June, finally I can take some space and forget about studying, meet new people and work together with people.None of the companies have confirmed a position for me la but still damn EXCITED for it HAHAHA :P. And if everything goes as planned I can graduate this year end and have my convocation next March. HOPEFULLY la. Hmmmm What else? Oh yeah and basketball! Recently, I got "recruited" to play for a lot of competition. I mean to me its a bit too late cause I am aging very fast HAHAHA 24 liao leh. But I got more exposure ever since I stepped foot into Serdang Basketball court. Now I think I am playing for the Serdang team. I think la, not sure. Then in school, the UTAR team has reformed this year to join and hopefully can compete for cups this year. And there are only 2 old dogs left in that team. One of them ......................ME!!! OHHHH yeah recently I started to try reselling stuff to earn a bit of money. I mean I would compliment myself for courage but HAIHHHH. HAHAHA well these are all there is to my simple life I guess. 

Lets move on to

I think I can be a model

Actually to be honest, from young people have been saying that I can be a model just because of my height. And at one point of time, I actually thought I could. I even went to meet a guy who claims that he is a model coach, instructor or whatever you call them. He saw me and said I look ok for a Chinese cause Chinese model usually look like this. I was like WHAT!!!! HAHAHA then he later add on that I have to go to the gym to get muscles. Six packs and arms I guess. In my head, I was like OH GOD NO. The thing is I exercise just because I could eat more and be healthy, NOT TO LOOK GOOD. Basketball is more of an interest/hobby. I mean I always think that I look good with attire, outfit and so on. No need to show skin ma :P I mean I dont mind la. DO YOU?

I was suppose to take picture for Eunice. But she purposely take these so I could learn how to take nice ones for her. HAHAHA I failed :P But yeah it was a nice trip, Really glad last minute decide to go up. And I had a lot of fun. No matter what, EUNICE thank you!!!
